STEEP Brewing Lakeside Tiki Bar is Coming to the Dillon Marina this Summer!

Change is brewing down at the Dillon Marina! We’re excited to share some big news—the Tiki Bar has new operators!

Please join us in welcoming STEEP Brewing and Coffee Company, the team behind the newly reimagined STEEP Brewing Lakeside Tiki Bar.

Owned and operated by Justin and Elissa Slezak, STEEP Brewing has been a staple in Summit County since opening in 2020. With two locations in Keystone and their ownership of Breckenridge Coffee Roasters—the largest locally owned wholesale coffee roaster in the county—they bring a strong reputation for quality, creativity, and community. Their mission is simple: serve exceptional beer, coffee, cocktails, and food while creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. That same spirit is coming lakeside this summer. Here is what to expect from the new operators:

Mornings at the Marina
Start your day with artisan coffee from Breckenridge Coffee Roasters, paired with fresh pastries and breakfast offerings. STEEP is partnering with local favorite Bad Bunnie Bakery to serve fresh pastries and desserts throughout the day—all with unbeatable views of the Dillon Reservoir. 

Lunch and Dinner with a Tiki Twist
A brand-new menu is in the works featuring tiki-inspired appetizers and craft burgers made with Colorado-raised USDA Choice beef. Guests can also enjoy grilled chicken and vegetarian options, all made fresh to order.

Local Craft Beer
Up to six rotating taps will feature beers brewed locally at STEEP Brewing in Keystone. Keep an eye out for a special collaboration beer created with the Dillon Marina and Dillon Amphitheater teams—announcement coming soon!

Elevated Tiki Cocktails
STEEP has been consulting with tiki bars across the country to create a unique cocktail list. Expect a mix of iced and frozen tiki drinks, classic rum favorites, signature creations, and a rotating monthly specialty cocktail.

Live Music at the Marina
A new stage will bring live music directly to the Tiki Bar. Performances will complement Dillon Amphitheater concerts with support and collaboration from the Summit Musicians Relief Fund.

Monthly “Locals Luaus”
Plans are underway for themed summer parties featuring roasted pork specials, tiki cocktails, contests, and giveaways.

Dog Parties
The Tiki Bar will remain dog-friendly (leashed, of course!), with fun, pet-focused events planned throughout the season.

We’re thrilled to see this beloved lakeside spot evolve while continuing to serve as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Stay tuned for more details as opening day approaches—we can’t wait to welcome you to STEEP Brewing Lakeside Tiki Bar!

Summer Operations Updates and Reminders

The Dillon Marina will be open for the 2026 summer season, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back for another great season on the water! Boat rental operations and boat tours will continue as normal, and our team is looking forward to helping guests and slip holders make the most of their time in Dillon and on the Dillon Reservoir. The Dillon Marina is planning to open Memorial Day weekend. 

As we prepare for a busy summer amid drought conditions, please review these operational updates and reminders:

Dock Access and Seawall Safety:

• Dock access at Dillon Marina will look a little different this summer, as fluctuating water levels could leave some gangways resting directly on the shoreline. Boaters and visitors should plan for longer access times and, in some cases, what staff are calling “long walks on the beach” to reach their vessels.
• Conditions along the marina are expected to vary throughout the season, so extra caution is advised—especially near the seawall. Visitors are encouraged to allow additional time, wear appropriate footwear, and stay alert while navigating the area.

Dock Work and Marina Improvements 

• Slip holders and visitors should expect ongoing dock work and anchor installation. These improvements are critical to maintaining safe and functional infrastructure in changing water conditions. 

Increased Traffic for Launch Ramp and Parking

• Dillon will serve as the only launch ramp and Aquatic Nuisance Species inspection site on the reservoir.
• Expect higher boating traffic at the launch ramp and longer wait times. 
• The marina parking lot and marina yard will be heavily utilized, including storage for large sailboats participating in regattas and slip holds. Parking may be limited. We encourage visitors to carpool and come early. 

Courtesy Dock Changes 

• The amphitheater dock will not be installed this summer. The dock will be relocated to the launch ramp to improve efficiency for those launching their boats.
• Courtesy docking at the Frisco Bay Marina will not be available for boaters visiting from Dillon. 

Pump-Out Services 

• The pump-out barge may not be deployed this season due to water levels and the power requirements needed for operation.
• As a result, pump-out services may be unavailable this year. Boaters are encouraged to plan ahead.

Regattas and Sailing Activity

• We are excited to host a number of regattas this summer including the Dillon Open Regatta in August. 
• Etchells and other large sailboats will require use of the loader for launching and retrieval at the ramp as the blue crane will be inoperable this summer. Please plan ahead and coordinate with marina staff.

Visitor Reminders 

• Expect heavier traffic, especially on weekends and holidays. 
• Please arrive early, allow extra time, and follow all staff directions. 
• Our team is meeting regularly to plan, adapt, and problem-solve.

June 6 & 7 | 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar for the Let's Go Boating annual fundraiser for the League for Animals and People of the Summit (LAPS). Join us on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 for what promises to be a delightful experience for both participants and furry friends alike. This two-day event offers the public the opportunity to embark on 45-minute boat rides guided by local captains, ensuring an enjoyable journey on the serene waters of the Dillon Reservoir. 

Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a first-time boater, Let's Go Boating welcomes all to come aboard for a memorable experience while making a difference.

All proceeds benefit LAPS! 

Reservations for Boat Rentals and Tours Now Open!

Boat rentals for the 2026 summer season opened on Wednesday, April 1. All boats are available to rent for a minimum of 2 hours. Our most popular rental periods are two, three and four-hour rentals, but you are welcome to call us for additional hours. Dillon Reservoir is the largest body of water in the area and offers magnificent mountain vistas. Boat rentals enable you to explore the lake, fish or just bask in the summer sun. 

Secure your spot for favorite tours like the Historical Boat Tour, Women and Wine on the Water, and Evening Sailing Tours—all offering a unique way to experience Dillon Reservoir. These tours fill quickly each summer, so be sure to reserve early!

The Dillon Marina in NO way represents the items posted in this section, nor has any knowledge of the condition of such items. All correspondence shall be kept between the listing and interested parties. No additional information will be provided by the marina. 

The Dillon Marina will no longer be accepting boats for sale via email. If you have a boat-related item to sell, please fill out the Boats for Sale Form linked below. You can also use this form to let the marina know that a boat has been sold so we can remove it from the boats for sale listings. Boats for sale will only be listed for 3 months. If the boat is still for sale after that time period, the listing will be removed and a new form must be submitted.
