Dillon Open Regatta

The Dillon Yacht Club extends a warm invitation to all sailors interested in participating in the 54th annual Dillon Open Regatta, the world’s highest regatta at 9,017 ft. above sea level.
Racing will be held on beautiful Lake Dillon, where you’ll enjoy sunny days and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Racing typically includes 6–8 races over two days, with dynamic course layouts using permanent marks in winds ranging from 6 to 25 knots, and more during stormy shifts.
Not a sailor? Purchase a ticket to ride along on a spectator boat. Whether you're sailing, spectating, or cheering from the marina, the Dillon Open offers a beautiful mountain‑lake weekend perfect for friends, families, and sailing enthusiasts alike.
Marina Mutt Show

Join us for our annual Marina Mutt Show a benefit for L.A.P.S. (League for Animals and People of the Summit).
Competitions include best trick, best high jump, best look-alike, doggie trivia, doggie ice cream eating contest and a silent auction. There are fantastic prizes from our local sponsors. All proceeds benefit L.A.P.S.
Registration and the silent auction begins at noon.
Contest begins at 2 p.m.

Summer is in full swing, and as July winds down, it's the perfect time to look ahead and gear up for August and the autumn months. Here are some important dates to add to your calendar as we continue rolling through summer:
August 15 - Fall work orders go out via email.
September 1 - Sunset sailing tours close for the season.
September 1 - Fall operating hours begin. The marina will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
September 30 - Boat rentals close for the season. Book a rental today!
October 5 - Last day to use the pump out.
October 8 - Tentative Crane Day.
October 19 - All boats must be out of the water.
If you trailer your own boat but rely on us to winterize the engine, it's crucial that you notify us as soon as your boat is out of the water. Even a single overnight freeze can cause serious, irreversible damage. An appointment is required for this service. On August 15, I’ll send out a booking link to all customers who had us winterize their inboard or gas stern drive engines in 2024. If you need this service and don’t receive the link, please reach out to me at karleef@dillonmarin.com and I’ll be happy to send it to you.
