As we near the winter solstice and the shortest day of the year, we are embracing a slower pace here at the marina. The cold nights and mornings have us arriving to a plume of fog on the lake. The inlets and shallower areas are beginning to freeze over, as the frigid temperatures continue, it won't be long until the entire reservoir is frozen. Tyler, Evan, and Phil escaped the cold for slightly warmer temperatures in Georgia as they journeyed to Yamaha school for a two-week course in early December. They are excited to share their knowledge as we head into our winter service season.

Dillon Holiday Markets
December 21 and December 22
Don’t miss the final holiday markets of the season! Join us in a cozy heated tent at Town Park for two days of festive fun, shopping, and live music on Saturday, December 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, December 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy delicious drinks at the Dillon bar beginning at noon with a special happy hour beginning at 2 p.m. Vendors will rotate each day, so you will want to come to both markets. We can’t wait to see you there! Happy holidays!

 Holiday Lights On Display
Enjoy the magic of the season with the Town of Dillon's immersive lighting experience! Take a stroll through Dillon and enjoy a canopy of classic and elegant lights, and majestic light sculptures hidden around town. The lights and the sculptures will be on display through March 2025.

Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds you all enjoying the beauty of this delightful snow season! As we approach the close of 2024, we are excited to share our final buzz of the year. This will be our last opportunity to cover a few key points and tie up loose ends as we wrap up the season.
Thank you for your prompt attention, and I look forward to another successful boating season in 2025!
Important Reminders:
First and most importantly, if you have an outstanding invoice, you will not be eligible for a slip in 2025. All invoices must be paid to renew your slip for the 2025 season.
Second, customers must complete a new lease agreement every year. You are not guaranteed a slip until you have completed your lease agreement and paid your annual slip fee.
For your convenience, I’ve included some helpful information and answers to frequently asked questions regarding slip renewals:

Slip Renewals: Renewal documents will be sent via email during the first week of January 2025. You can access these renewal forms through the email or by searching MarinaGO.

Slip Assignments: You will automatically remain in your current slip unless you request a change, and a slip becomes available. If you would like to request a move, please be sure to ask to be placed on the transfer list. There is a $30 fee for this service.

Email Changes - If your email changes, you need to contact us as soon as possible to make sure you are receiving all the current information.

Spring Work Orders: A spring work order will be sent to all leaseholders, regardless of whether or not you require one. This helps streamline the process, as sending work orders individually can be time-consuming. If you don’t need a work order, simply open the document and click "reject."

Payment Deadlines & Discounts: All renewals must be completed by March 1, 2025. However, if payment is made on or before February 1, you will receive a 2% discount on your slip or storage fee.

Dock Box Requests: If you would like to add a dock box to your slip, please be sure to request it via email.

In-Person Lease Signing: If you prefer to complete your lease in person, feel free to stop by the office. I’m happy to assist you! Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to visit, as I work from home on occasion.
