 CDOT hosts community open house to share information about Mobility Study in Dillon and Silverthorne at US 6 and CO 9

Summit County – The Colorado Department of Transportation invites community members and business owners to learn more about the Mobility Study in Dillon and Silverthorne at US 6 and Colorado Highway 9. The study, initiated by CDOT in partnership with Summit County, Silverthorne, and Dillon in January 2023, focuses on improving safety and operations along the US 6 and CO 9 corridors. With traffic projected to increase by 45% by 2045, the study emphasizes efficient traffic flow, enhanced accessibility, community collaboration, sustainability and safety improvements.
The open house will provide stakeholders with information about the study that examined traffic conditions from the Interstate 70 Exit 205 interchange to Hamilton Creek Road (north on CO 9) and to Lake Dillon Drive (east on US 6), including considerations of the Wildernest Road/Stephens Way loop. CDOT team members will be available to answer questions.
