Summer conditions continued into the autumn months with above average temperatures and beautiful sunny days. The peaks are lightly dusted with snow and the ski resorts are busy making snow for the upcoming season. As always, it's a race to see which of the Summit County ski resorts will open first. Wolf Creek Ski Resort already claimed the title of first ski resort to open in Colorado with an opening date of October 22! While we are anxiously awaiting ski season, we are also appreciative of this great weather window Mother Nature's given us to get everything buttoned up for the year. We are only 205 days away from opening day 2025 (but who's counting). |

Letter from the Sheriff
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind all marina slip, mooring and paddle rack tenants of the state registration requirements for their vessel. Colorado Boating Statues and Regulations states, "It is unlawful for any person to operate or use a vessel on the waters of this state or to possess a vessel at a vessel staging area unless the vessel has been numbered and a certificate of the number, referred to in this article as a ‘registration’, has been issued to the vessel by the division [Colorado Parks and Wildlife].” Click the link below for more information.

Crane Day
Crane Day is an annual occurrence where we haul the boats that are too big to haul on the ramp. This year we were blessed with beautiful weather, a rockstar crew, and a nearly full reservoir. Our friends from K.P. Squared Crane came down from northern Colorado to lend a hand again this year. Now it's time to button up everything for the upcoming winter.
We are knee deep into our fall service, so if you need work done to your boat, please submit a work order as soon as possible.

Back Office News
Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds you all basking in the warmth of this delightful spooky season! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, we at the marina have been diligently working to prepare all boats for the winter.
We want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for making this summer truly remarkable. Your enthusiasm and camaraderie have brightened our days and enriched our community.
As we transition into this new season, we also want to gently remind everyone that it’s time to focus on billing. To ensure your eligibility for a slip for the 2025 season, please remember that all bills must be settled by the end of the year.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter, and for being such a vital part of our marina family. Here’s to a cozy winter ahead!
As always, please reach out with any questions.
