It's that time of year when we wake up to frost on the windows and snow on the high peaks. The leaves in the high country just hit peak color as September slips into October. Life at the marina is slowing down, but only for a moment as the crew is getting ready to launch into hauling boats, engine winterization, and shrink wrapping. There is still plenty to keep us busy before the snow starts flying. |

Back Office News
Hello Everyone,
As we immerse ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of autumn, it's hard not to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the falling leaves. I hope you’re all taking a moment to soak in the stunning sights and the crisp, refreshing air that accompanies this wonderful season.
With just a few days left for rentals, let’s cherish these last moments of adventure and exploration amidst nature’s masterpiece. As we prepare to transition into the next phase, our focus will shift to service we would like to go over our important dates again.
- The last day that boats can be in the water this year is October 20. Each day your boat is in the water past after October 20, you will be charged a daily rate and an additional fee for us to haul your boat out.
- Crane day is scheduled for October 9. If your boat needs to be craned, make sure everything you need to do on your boat is done before then.
- We are no longer using the portal system. Everything associated to your account and slip are now accessible through MarinaGO. All invoices will be sent from MarinaGO. All credit card payments will include a 3% processing fee. To avoid the fee, you can pay cash in person or with a check.
- Everyone should have received a fall work order. If you have not received a fall work order and need one, please contact myself or Maddie and we will send you a new one.
A few work order reminders:
- All additional services need to be written on the work order and approved by Phil Bretschneider.
- Expect a minimum of five days after the date the boat is available for service before requested service will be done.
-
Confirm with a marina staff member before hauling your boat. If you need your boat winterized the same day it is hauled, you need to be scheduled on our Calendar.
- If you are looking for any additional large services to be done over the winter, make sure you request it on the work order as soon as possible. Once requested, Phil Bretschneider will confirm that service can be completed.
- The weather is cooling down at night, so if you normally pull your engine so that the lower unit is out of the water and if the temperatures at night drop below freezing, your lower unit could freeze causing permanent damage. If the weather is expected to be below freezing, please keep your engine and lower unit in the water.
As always, please reach out with any questions.
