Back Office News
Hello Everyone,
As the sun sets on the last day of August, the Dillon Open Regatta painted an unforgettable tapestry of laughter and camaraderie against the backdrop of shimmering waters. From exhilarating races to delightful shenanigans, the weekend was a blissful celebration of community and the nautical spirit.
Here are some important reminders as things begin to wind down:
- The last day that boats can be in the water this year is October 20. Each day your boat is in the water past after October 20, you will be charged a daily rate and an additional fee for us to haul your boat out.
- Crane day is scheduled for October 9. If your boat needs to be craned, make sure everything you need to do on your boat is done before then.
- We are no longer using the portal system. Everything associated to your account and slip are now accessible through MarinaGO. All invoices will be sent from MarinaGO. All credit card payments will include a 3% processing fee. To avoid the fee, you can pay cash in person or with a check.
- Everyone should have received a fall work order. If you have not received a fall work order and need one, please contact myself or Maddie and we will send you a new one.
A few work order reminders:
- All additional services need to be written on the work order and approved by Phil Bretschneider.
- Expect a minimum of five days after the date the boat is available for service before requested service will be done.
-
Confirm with a marina staff member before hauling your boat. If you need your boat winterized the same day it is hauled, you need to be scheduled on our Calendar.
- If you are looking for any additional large services to be done over the winter, make sure you request it on the work order as soon as possible. Once requested, Phil Bretschneider will confirm that service can be completed.
- The weather is cooling down at night, so if you normally pull your engine so that the lower unit is out of the water and if the temperatures at night drop below freezing, your lower unit could freeze causing permanent damage. If the weather is expected to be below freezing, please keep your engine and lower unit in the water.
As always, please reach out with any questions.
