Summer is officially here! A healthy snow pack along with a few spring rain showers have the reservoir full and bursting. We are looking forward to a full reservoir for the majority of the summer. Thursday Night Sailing is Back!
The Thursday Night Beer Can series returns to the Dillon Marina every Thursday night all summer long. The rules are simple: number one, stay on the boat; number two, no protests; number three, have fun! For beginners, intermediates, and advanced sailors, races begin at 6 p.m. At the end of the season, scores are combined to determine each fleet's winners. Pack the cooler and make your way to Dillon. No boat? No problem! Skippers are always looking for crew, stop by the skippers meeting at 5:30 p.m. to see who needs crew for the night.

Dillon Open Regatta

The Dillon Yacht Club extends a warm invitation to all sailors interested in participating in the 2024 Dillon Open Regatta, the world’s highest regatta at 9,017 ft. above sea level, on Aug 24-25, 2024.
Racing will be held on beautiful Lake Dillon, where you’ll enjoy sunny days and spectacular views of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains.

Historical Boat Tours on Lake Dillon
Dive into history with the Explore Lake Dillon Historical Boat Tours. Discover the reservoir's fascinating past and enjoy breathtaking views as the Summit Historical Society trained guides tell captivating tales about the building of the Dillon Dam, the Roberts Tunnel, and the relocation of the Town of Dillon. Due to high demand, we offer tours Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week from June 4- August 31. We also offer tours every second Saturday of June, July and August. Tours begin at 9 a.m. and are an hour and a half.

It has been quite the start to summer this year. The weather has not been the ideal teammate early on, but things are beginning to turn around. We are working as hard as we can to get ready for the big holiday. We are lucky to have an amazing crew this year. They are happy to help you with anything they can.
If you store your boat at the Dillon Marina, we always appreciate when everything is up to date! Please make sure we have your most recent insurance, with the Dillon Marina listed as additionally insured, as stated in your lease agreement.
