The 2024 season is officially underway! We opened for the season on Saturday, May 25 and in pure Colorado fashion... it snowed on Sunday. Luckily the forecast is looking much sunnier as we head into June. Keep reading for a few words from our Marina Director Craig Simson as we kick off the summer in Dillon.
Hey everyone! We are open! As we continue to get things rocking and rolling I wanted to reach out to ask for your patience. We have been battling Mother Nature in the form of May blizzards and extremely high winds. This has made launching boats very difficult. The forecast is improving and we will take advantage of every moment we have to stay on schedule. Thank you in advance and we will see you soon!

Let's Go Boating
June 8 and 9
Mark your calendar for the Let's Go Boating annual fundraiser for the League for Animals and People of the Summit (LAPS). Join us on June 8 and 9 beginning at 9 a.m. for what promises to be a delightful experience for both participants and furry friends alike. This two-day event offers the public the opportunity to embark on 45-minute boat rides guided by local captains, ensuring an enjoyable journey on the serene waters of the Dillon Reservoir.
Pug Ryan's Lakeside Tiki Bar is now open seven days a week. Enjoy picturesque views of the Dillon Reservoir and Peak One and the Ten Mile Range while sipping on your favorite Tiki drink on one of the best patios in Summit County. The Tiki Bar is open from 11:30 a.m. until sunset (weather depending).
Reservations are now open for the 2024 season! All boats are available to rent for a minimum of two hours. Our most popular rental periods are two, three and four-hour rentals, but you are welcome to call us for additional hours. Lake Dillon is the largest lake in the area and offers magnificent mountain vistas. Boat rentals enable you to explore the lake, fish or just bask in the summer sun.
I would like to thank everyone for your understanding and patience with spring service and work orders. We are working as fast as we can, but the wind and snow have not been on our side.
We are excited to welcome all our guests back to the marina this summer. You will see some new faces as well as some seasoned Dillon Marina veterans, including on our leadership team. Please remember to introduce yourself when you come in because even if it is your 20th year at the Dillon Marina it is the first year for a lot if our staff.
