Historical Boat Tours
Reservations open on April 1
Trained guides from the Summit Historical Society lead a leisurely historic tour of Lake Dillon. Learn about the building of the Dillon Dam and the Roberts Tunnel, and the relocation of the old Town of Dillon. Whether you're a history buff or just like the idea of relaxing out on the lake, it's a terrific way to spend a morning. Tours are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings June 6 through August 31. Saturday tours are also available on June 8, July 13, and August 10.
Back Office News
Hello Everyone,
The deadline to renew your slip is Friday, March 1. All slip leases must be signed, and invoices paid, by this date. If you do not sign your lease and submit payment by March 1, it will be assumed that you will not be returning and you will forfeit your slip.
Any slips that become available after the renewal deadline will be filled with people on the waitlist. Once all slips are full, I will update the waitlist and let those who did not get a slip for 2024 know that we are full for the season.
Spring work orders went out to slip holders on Feb. 9. If you want trailer storage for the summer, you must fill out a work order. Any additional services requested (such as putting the cover on your boat), need to be written in. We only complete the services listed on your work order. If you do not need your trailer stored or any other services, please select "reject the contract."
If you want to make changes to a work order that has already been submitted, please email me and I will update your existing work order. Work orders automatically enter our system once they are submitted. If a change needs to be made, you need to either come into the office and fill out another work order, or you need to email me the requested changes. Changes cannot be made verbally. We want to make sure that nothing is missed and having it in writing is the best way to do that.
If you would like to fill out your renewal or work order in person, I am happy to help. Please contact me ahead of time so I can expect you, as I occasionally work from home. My in-office schedule is typically Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
