The Dillon Marina is officially open for the 2023 summer season! Keep reading for a few words from our Marina Director Craig Simson as we kick off the summer in Dillon.
Hey everyone! We are open! The lake is filling fast and it is wonderful to have humans (and their furry campions) back at the marina.
We had an interesting spring. On May 10, Mother Nature tried to use the ice on the lake to push the marina to town hall. Our amazing crew jumped into action and prevented major damage. However, G-Dock took a hit, and we are repairing it as I write this message. I am going to ask you for your patience. Mother Nature continues to remind us to be humbled by her power with daily storms from the south and brings our efforts to a stop when she shows up. She’s awesome but it would be nice if she took a nap now and then.
One quick service note: if you are removing your own shrink wrap, you must remove the band at the bottom. We are only able to recycle the plastic. We are unable to recycle the strapping. We appreciate your help so we can continue to recycle the wrap.
Otherwise, we are doing great! I am excited for you to see a lot of familiar faces and meet our new crew. Our new crew is amazing. I feel like I’ve won the lottery with this year’s staff. Please keep in mind that our new folks are doing their best but may not know about a clevis pin. We are here to help (that’s actually my job) but, if you need service, please find me or anyone on my senior staff (meet our leadership team below). I look forward to teaching them everything I can and watching them grow!

Let's Go Boating
Join us for the Let's Go Boating annual fundraiser for the League for Animals and People of the Summit on June 10 and 11.
Enjoy 45-minute rides with our local captains on sailboats or pontoons. The event also offers stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, fishing charters and casting lessons on Lake Dillon. The cost for each activity all goes directly to LAPS.

Mountain Music Mondays
Dillon is the place to be on Monday nights all summer long - enjoy free music on the shores of the Dillon Reservoir in a wide variety of musical styles and genres. From Grammy-winning, singer-songwriters to classical orchestras, rootsy folk rock, jam bands and multicultural/world music, the Dillon Amphitheater will have something for everyone this summer.
