Marina Infrastructure Updates
Phil Bretschneider
Hi Everybody,
First, I would like to say thank you to all slip holders and guest for your patience while we are working on a lot of infrastructure projects around the marina.
A few updates I would like to pass along:
“F” dock was able to get a gangway!
A new “H” float was fabricated by the team and we remodeled an old gangway from “A” dock. Our new barge MS Blakely was an amazing asset to this project as we were able to lift the gangway up ourselves to install the “H” float and other half of gangway. We can't wait to see what else our new barge can do!
The new rental dock is being assembled now. The contractors are plumbing the fuel lines and doing the electrical work. Phase III is next, which is when we will swap the old rental dock with the new rental dock in mid-September. If that all goes smoothly we will reopen for rentals and test the new rental dock out.
The new stairs for the marina are being fabricated now and will be installed at the end of September. We also laid new asphalt in the front entrance as the sub grade was failing and causing massive ruts. We sure have been busy!
Lastly, some great words from Benjamin Franklin, “Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”

Hello All!
Believe it or not it is already time to start dancing in September! We are nearing the end of the season but still have some rentals and events left!
Don't forget to come to the Mutt show for the Great Basin Bonanza where you can win a season pass to Arapahoe Basin, swing by the silent auction and register your pup for our fun contests.
The last Day for boat rentals is September 11th so make sure to get you last fall trip in!
With fall just around the corner it is time to star thinking about fall work orders. All slip holders should have received a work order on August 15th. Make sure to fill it out before September 15th. The Marina is at full capacity for this winter so it is very important to check the dates listed below and follow protocol accordingly.
- October 12th is Crane Day.
- October 16th is the last date boats can be in the water.
- October and November Fall service commences. We will shrink wrap all boats with their mast down unless they cannot fit in our garage. There will be no exceptions. If this does not work for you as we have stated in the past, we highly suggest a custom cover.
The Marina was inundated with boats needing service this season. Delivery time for parts has been lengthy. If you are looking to have your oil changed, we strongly suggest your work order be in ASAP. All Motors are different, and we will do our best to make sure we have the right filter for your boat which could take additional wait time based on part availability and delivery times.
If you are looking for Winter Storage, we must have a work order filled out and signed. This ensures your boat is ready for safe keeping all winter long.
