Thank you for being part of the 2025 National Access and Functional Needs Symposium!
All,
Thank you for being part of the 2025 National Access and Functional Needs Symposium! With more than 1,700 whole community participants from every single state, the event helped strengthen trust, build understanding, and renew our shared commitment to integrating access and functional needs into every facet of emergency management.
On behalf of the rest of our outstanding organizing team—Vance Taylor (Chief, Office of Access and Functional Needs, California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services), Sadie Martinez (Access and Functional Needs Program Supervisor, Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management), Anne-Marie McLaughlin (Director of Emergency Management and Continuity, New York University), and Valerie Haven (Chair, IAEM Accessibility and Whole Community Inclusion Caucus)—thank you for your support and dedication in helping make this event a reality.
