Dear CDHS and BHA staff,
Starting Feb. 17, you will log in to UKG Kronos with your network username and password instead of your employee identification number and unique password. Your network username is followed by @cdhs.state.co.us (example: Riosxxal@cdhs.state.co.us) and the password is what you use to log in to a State-issued computer.
Everything Else Stays the Same This change only applies to how you log in. Once logged in, you will continue to approve and complete your timecard, request time off and view accruals exactly how you do today. This change does not impact how you clock in and out using a physical timeclock.
Make Sure You Know Your Network Username and Password Everyone will receive an email with their network username a few days before Feb. 16, but you should still make sure you know your network username and password.
Your Network Username:
- For most employees, if your last name is six letters long or more, your username will start with the first six letters of your last name + your first initial + your middle initial (or “x”), followed by @cdhs.state.co.us, for example, anderswp@cdhs.state.co.us)
- If your last name is under six letters, use “x” as a filler to reach the six-character requirement, for example, riosxxal@cdhs.state.co.us)
- If this isn’t working for you, submit a ticket to the ServiceHub or call the Service Desk at 303.239.HELP (4357).
Your Network Password:
- The password you use to log in to a State-issued device
Watch Your Inbox The CDHS Payroll and Timekeeping team will send a reminder email a few days before Feb. 16 that will include your network username so you’re ready to go. The email will come from cdhs_kronosadministration@state.co.us.
Why the Change? This change is to comply with State security requirements while also making things simpler for you:
- You’ll have one less password to remember
- No more Multi-Factor Authentication
Questions? Join the Kronos Open Office Hours every Tuesday from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. or email cdhs_kronosadministration@state.co.us.
Regards,
Amanda Rios, CDHS Deputy Controller
