Youth engagement opportunities
The Colorado General Assembly passed a bill (HB 24-1046) that aims to see how well the Colorado Family Safety and Risk Assessment Tools are working in the child welfare system and suggest improvements if needed.
ICF is currently seeking 8 to 10 individuals with direct experience in the Colorado child welfare system to serve on a workgroup and help guide the evaluation and recommendations. We want to hear from individuals who can provide perspectives on how they have been impacted by the current Colorado Family Safety and Risk Assessment Tools.
We are primarily looking for:
- Parents with lived experience in the Colorado child welfare system
- Current or former foster youth with lived experience in the Colorado child welfare system (aged 18+)
If you are interested in participating, please complete this brief interest form before Monday, May 12th. You can contact our Lived Expert Engagement and Review Specialist, Maddy Langan, via email at maddy.langan@icf.com if you have questions.
