Colorado Universal Preschool: Provider Program Set Up is Now Open!
Dear Preschool Providers,
We wanted to share some exciting news: the Provider Program Set Up process is now open for the 2024-2025 school year! The 2024-25 process is more intuitive than ever, allowing you to promote your programs with ease so that families can more easily find their just right provider.
Starting today, providers can begin setting up programs, creating public profiles, and providing contact information for an Authorized Signer to be sent the Provider Agreement for signature. This is required for both new and returning providers. In partnership with the Local Coordinating Organizations (LCOs) and the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, providers will move through the official approval process throughout the spring while preparing their provider profile for public browsing and the “Family Matching” phase.
This process is crucial to ensure your program can be viewed and potentially selected by families in the 2024-25 school year. Below are key dates and deadlines, information on how to prepare for participation, and additional resources for support.
The Provider Program Set Up Form must be completed by February 16, 2024. Start the process today!
Get Started
- Ensure you are licensed and registered as a preschool provider in the state of Colorado. Read more here.
- Login to the online portal via provider.upk.colorado.gov.
- Complete the Provider Program Set Up Form.
- Create your provider profile and prepare it to be made public for families to search and apply in late February.
- Connect with your LCO who will review and verify the information in your Provider Program Set Up Form.
- At a later date, the Authorized Representative can expect an email notification from the Colorado Department of Early Childhood with information about completing the Provider Agreement, to be routed through Docusign for signature. After the Provider Agreement is signed and submitted by the Authorized Representative, the Colorado Department of Early Childhood Authority will sign the Provider Agreement. With both signatures, the Provider is approved to participate and will be able to receive payments.
