Excalibur Classical Academy to Open this Fall
Retired aerospace entrepreneur and co-founder of SEAKR Engineering, Scott Anderson is launching Excalibur Classical Academy in Centennial after buying a $3.6 million office building. The new school reflects his vision to offer a classical, debate‑driven K–12 education inspired by how AI is reshaping the job market.
Opening this fall with kindergarten through third grade, the school will emphasize classical texts, Socratic discussion and the nation’s founding principles under headmaster Priscilla Rahn.
Anderson plans $2 million in renovations and anticipates tuition will rise to $15,000 within three years. The school will also offer donor-supported scholarships and license its curriculum from the John Adams Academy as part of his broader goal of restoring civil discourse and teaching children to think critically.

ULA Assists Artemis II Launch
The United Launch Alliance (ULA) made history with its Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS), built in collaboration with Boeing, which propelled the NASA Artemis II astronauts into high-Earth orbit setting them on their trajectory towards the moon. ULA's local Ascent team also supported key NASA decision makers by monitoring the health and performance of ICPS during the Space Launch System’s (SLS) climb to space. ULA is Centennial's third largest employer.

Water Restrictions: What Businesses Should Know
Water service in Centennial is provided by multiple water and sanitation districts, so restrictions may vary depending on your provider. Regional water providers are beginning to implement restrictions, with additional decisions expected in the coming weeks. Because these updates can differ by district and may change, it’s important to check directly with your specific provider.
Not Sure Who Your Provider Is?
Staying informed now helps avoid surprises later. Use the City’s Property Search tool to find your water provider based on your address: Property Search Tool. This tool is a helpful resource as conditions evolve.
Questions?
Call the Citizen Response Center: 303-325-8000. You can also contact your water provider directly or visit Arapahoe County for additional information and resources.
