Leeds Business Confidence Index Now Live
For 23 years, the Leeds Business Confidence Index (LBCI) has gauged business leaders’ opinions about national and state economic trends and how their industry will perform in the coming quarters. We invite you to take the survey and share your thoughts about quarters one and two of 2026. The survey will remain open through Friday, December 19 and your opinion matters. Prior reports can be found on LBCI.
New Tax Credit Program Launches - Enterprise Zone
The Colorado Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program offers state income tax credits to encourage businesses to grow and expand in designated areas of the state. Starting in 2026, this program will be available to Centennial businesses in designated zones. Businesses must pre-certify with the state before they can be eligible for tax credits. Apply now for pre-certification to be eligible for the credits starting January 1, 2026. More information is available at the Enterprise Zone Program, including an interactive enterprise zone map to see if you are in a qualifying zone, eligibility requirements, business tax credit and incentives and more. - South Metro Denver Chamber's Economic Development group will host their annual Economic Forecast Breakfast on Friday, January 30 from 7:30 - 10 a.m. at the Douglas County School District Legacy Campus (10035 S. Peoria St., Parker). Top speakers explore anticipated market changes and trends that are expected to shape the upcoming year of our economy, public policy and the overall business climate of Colorado and the South Metro region.

- Did you know Arapahoe Community College (ACC) partners with employers through customized work-based learning programs? ACC works with businesses to design training tailored to their needs to help attract, retain, educate, and develop new and existing employees. These outcome-based programs are designed to strengthen your workforce, support employee success and positively impact the families they support. Funding opportunities may be available. - The City of Centennial offices will be closed Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday and on Thursday, January 1 for New Year's Day.
