Former Arrow Building Under Demolition
In recent weeks, drivers likely noticed the demolition activity at 9201 E. Dry Creek, the former Arrow Electronics headquarters near the Dry Creek/I-25 interchange. The no longer existing four story office building is in the process of being demolished by the new property owner, who purchased the property in 2024. The City is currently reviewing a development application for a multi-family development at the site.
National and local trends are impacting office spaces across the country and within Centennial. The City is proactively working to ensure that Midtown Centennial emerges as a destination location for businesses, residents, employers and developers by focusing on parks, trails and public spaces.
Centennial Office Campus Sells
NexGen Properties recently purchased an office campus located at 7200 S. Alton Way in Centennial. Their investment will go towards general building improvements and refreshing offices in the three-building, 6.6 acre campus. The Corporate 25 office development was built in 1980.
Industrial Campus Breaks Ground in Centennial
Minneapolis-based company, United Properties, has broken ground on phase one of its 43-acre industrial campus in Centennial, located east of I25 between Dry Creek Road and Arapahoe Road. The first phase of United Properties’ Inova industrial campus includes a 141,480-square-foot building and another 113,770-square-foot building. The campus will feature as many as five industrial buildings at full build out.
Centennial's ULA Launches Atlas V
United Launch Alliance's Atlas V launched Kuiper 3 recently, expanding Amazon Project Kuiper's global connectivity. Project Kuiper is a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation that intends to provide fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities.

- October is Manufacturing Month. Manufacturer's Edge announced that Colorado is officially part of the What's So Cool About Manufacturing (WSCM) Program. This national career awareness initiative gives middle school students the opportunity to discover the innovative world of manufacturing through a unique video contest. Student teams will partner with local manufacturers to visit facilities and meet employees, capture real stories and images of modern manufacturing and share their work with peers, parents and the community. Colorado manufacturers can now join this initiative.
- The Aurora Chamber of Commerce will host its Women in Business conference on Wednesday, October 15 from 8 - 11:30 a.m. at the Z Summit Event Center (411 Sable Blvd., Aurora). In addition to honoring this year’s Unsung Heroes at the luncheon, the conference will feature breakout sessions, a panel discussion with local leaders and opportunities for professional growth and connection.

Sip in Centennial, an outdoor tasting event celebrating Colorado's vibrant beverage scene, is back for a third year. Join us on Saturday, October 25 from 1 - 5 p.m. at Centennial Center Park. Purchase a tasting card for $20 and receive 10 samples of your choice from a mix of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, ciders and more. The Centennial Rotary Club will be selling full-sized beverages as a fundraiser and sampling cards are not required. Live music, food trucks and community vendors will round out the festivities. This event is presented by Commerce Bank and Jacobs.
