Centennial's Large Community Improvement Grant program kicks off next week, and a friendly reminder that the City will host two informational sessions on Tuesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Centennial Public Works building (7272 S. Eagle St.). The Neighborhood Services Manager will review the grant submittal process and talk with residents about their community improvement project ideas, discuss past successes and learning experiences, and answer questions.
Attendance at these sessions is strongly encouraged for any residents intending to apply for the Large Community Improvement Grant. This program supports larger-scale improvements to neighborhoods, empowering Centennial residents and groups to spearhead community-based projects while providing the building blocks and resources for neighborhood identity. Groups may apply for up to $10,000 per project for community-based improvements, including but not limited to neighborhood signage, landscaping improvements, place making and community gardens.
Applications will be available Friday, February 14. To find application criteria, eligibility requirements and more, visit centennialco.gov/communitygrants.
