The City of Centennial is seeking candidates for roles on its Boards, Commissions and Committees. Being part of a Centennial Board, Commission or Committee offers a unique opportunity to contribute to your community and provide valuable input to City Council on critical issues. Applications are available to join the Audit Committee, Election Commission, Investment Committee, Open Space Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Commission and Senior Commission based on current vacancies. New appointments will be made in March 2025, with terms starting in April. To apply, submit an online application form by February 17. The same form can be used for multiple vacancies, and once submitted, is valid for the year. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified via email.
BeeHive Industries Lands in Centennial
BeeHive Industries opened its new 60,000 square-foot headquarters in Centennial last month. The facility will serve as a hub for jet engine development, advanced manufacturing, and defense innovation.
Movement Centennial Recognized as the Largest
Movement Centennial has been named the largest U.S. climbing gym built in 2024, according to a ranking by the Climbing Business Journal. The 41,000 square-foot facility offers 28,000 square feet of climbing surfaces with over 100 routes on walls reaching 55 feet tall.

- The South Metro Denver Chamber will host its 2025 Economic Forecast Breakfast on Friday, January 31 from 6:45 - 9 a.m. at the DCSD Legacy Campus (10035 S. Peoria Street, Lone Tree). Gain unique insight from a distinguished panel of speakers, as they discuss topics that explore and shape our businesses, our state and our country for the upcoming year.
- Complete the Denver South 2024 Commuter Survey and provide feedback on the current and future of transportation in the Denver South region. Whether you drive, take the train, work remotely or ride a bike, every response counts. Each year the survey gives insights into commuting in and around the region. Your response will help inform Denver South about current use of sustainable transportation options and on which commute modes they should focus investment.
- The South Metro Denver Chamber is accepting nominations for their 2025 Annual Business Awards. The awards are intended to honor individuals and businesses making a substantial contribution to the South Metro Denver Chamber and the surrounding community. All nominees must have been a member of the Chamber from January through December 2024. Nominations are due February 7.
- The Denver Metro Small Business Development Center will offer their LEADING EDGE for Entrepreneurs premier business plan program beginning in February 2025. Participants learn how to analyze economic opportunities and risk for their business, and create an actionable strategic business plan based on proven market research and management techniques. A free informational session is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce office (1445 Market Street, Denver).

This winter, our Snow Force will hit the streets with their newly minted names, bringing both safety and smiles to our community. The Centennial Snow Force Naming Contest invited youth to showcase their creativity and these winning names are ready to make their debut and clear the way.
