Resources for Homeless Impact
The City is committed to a balanced approach to address the needs of those experiencing homelessness with the need to maintain the safety and health of our residents and businesses. Business owners in Centennial, like in many other cities, may face challenges related to homelessness including trespassing and people camping on their private property. Visit centennialco.gov/businesses-and-homelessness to review recommended actions and resources, along with access the new Centennial Homeless Outreach Liaison.
Arapahoe Urban Center District 4 Regulating Plan Approved
Centennial City Council recently approved a Regulating Plan for the Arapahoe Urban Center District 4 (AUC-4), located at the southwest corner of E. Arapahoe Rd. and I25. Identified in the City's comprehensive plan, Centennial NEXT, this area was called out as a potential "iconic gateway" for Centennial. Currently, the District is largely characterized by aging commercial buildings, limited infrastructure and a lack of coordinated private reinvestment which resulted in this City-initiated Regulating Plan. The plan will ensure cohesive and coordinated development opportunities for the area, while providing a broad, long-term vision to transform the area into an economically vibrant, pedestrian-oriented, cohesive mixed-use environment. Learn more about this nearly 40-acre district at centennialco.gov/auc4.

National Apprenticeship Week, November 13-19, recognizes this and is a nationwide celebration where employers, industry associations, labor organizations, community-based organizations, workforce partners, education providers, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship.
