Plan for Yosemite Street Lane Closures for Water Main Replacement Project
As the Southgate Water District works to replace a 60-year cast iron water main that runs under Yosemite Street, various lane closures on the Centennial stretch of Yosemite Street from County Line Road to Easter Road are anticipated through the duration of the project which is targeted for completion in November 2023. Alternate routes are advised. This water main originally was installed in 1962 and has had two significant failures in the last eight years. The total extent of this large and complex project is from Easter Avenue in Centennial to Brook Hill Drive (near Lincoln Avenue) in Lone Tree. The Centennial portion consists of the replacement of 8,600 feet of water line. Click here for more information.
