Spark Centennial 2023 Applications Accepted Beginning Wednesday
Applications for the 2023 Spark Centennial Experience Accelerator Cohort will be accepted beginning Wednesday, March 15. The program is a sandbox to create, prototype and test experiential ideas and new business models to create meaningful customer connections through for-sale experiences. Program benefits include workshops, mentorship, expert insights and access to networks, as well as opportunities to secure $2,000 or other non-monetary offerings and resources for prototype and business development. Join the Centennial Rotary for the 2023 State of Our City on May 11
The Rotary Club of Centennial and the City of Centennial will once again host the annual State of Our City luncheon. The event will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport, 13005 Wings Way.
Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko will share a keynote presentation, and the gathering will be an opportunity to build relationships with fellow Centennial business and community leaders. All proceeds from the State of Our City event benefit the charitable outreach of the Centennial Rotary Foundation, the 501(c)(3) arm of the Centennial Rotary club. Contribute Your Voice on Broadway Corridor Study
An 11-mile stretch of the Broadway corridor between I-25 and Highlands Ranch Parkway is the focus of a transportation and land-use study led by the City of Littleton in partnership with several agencies, including the City of Centennial. The goal of the study is to "establish a cohesive vision for the corridor’s future and identify improvements that celebrate and connect the unique identities of the surrounding communities, foster economic vibrancy, provide safe and comfortable spaces and support regional mobility options for all." Click here to share your ideas and suggestions for this corridor by March 29 via the City of Littleton's self-guided online meeting. Several additional collaboration opportunities will be available for residents and businesses throughout the study process as well.

Kudos are in order for the many individuals and businesses making substantial contributions to the South Metro Denver Chamber and the surrounding area which have been nominated for the South Metro Denver Chamber's Business Awards. The selected winners in each category will be recognized at the annual Business Awards event 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street. A/D Works! To Host Inclusive Career Mixer
Employers ranging from the Colorado State Government to Allosource are participating in a mixer hosted by Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center to create a climate of inclusion for people with disabilities and connect with job seekers. The Inclusive Career Mixer will be held at 6954 S. Lima Street at the Arpapahoe County DMV on Tuesday, March 28. Veterans and spouses are invited to arrive early at 1 p.m. and the general public is invited to attend the event from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. Whether you have a disability or not, need a job, or simply want to network with businesses that have job opportunities, all are invited. Need Capital to Start or Restructure a Business?
Colorado entrepreneurs and small business owners needing capital, or who are having trouble obtaining loans from traditional lenders, to start, restart or restructure a business are invited to apply for the Colorado Startup Loan Fund. Presented by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the program spurs revolving micro-loan funding (under $150,000) to small businesses and entrepreneurs by mission-focused lenders and community development financial institutions.
