Boulder County, CO – Starting today, Boulder County Elections is pleased to kick off its general public Election Champion workshops: a series of community-focused training sessions designed to empower residents to become trusted local resources for election information. These free sessions offer a comprehensive look at the electoral process, how federal policy changes impact local voting, and effective ways to share accurate information with friends and neighbors.
What is an Election Champion? As an Election Champion, participants will gain knowledge about the Colorado election model, how election administration is similar between states, an overview of federal activity around elections, and information to dispel common myths around voting and voter registration. No prior election knowledge / training is required; whether you're a first-timer or have attended past election information events/tours, this advanced “Elections 201” curriculum offers valuable new insights.
