Help Shape Boulder County’s Disaster Plan
Your input will help lower disaster risk in Boulder County.
Hello Community Partners,
Boulder County is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan looks at the natural disasters that can affect our communities, like floods and wildfires. It also lays out ways to lower the long-term risks to people, property, roads, and natural areas.
We want to hear from community organizations like yours. You work closely with residents, so you can offer valuable insight into how disasters affect the people you serve. That is especially true for people who face bigger challenges getting ready for and recovering from a disaster.
The short survey asks about your work with the communities you serve. It covers past disasters, barriers to getting ready and recovering, worries about future disasters, and ways to lower risk and recover faster.
Your answers will show our planning team where communities are most at risk and help shape a plan that reflects real needs across Boulder County.
- Know another organization that should take the survey? Email us their name and contact information.
- Have an event we could attend? Let us know – we'll keep joining community events through early October.
You can email Katie Arrington at karrington@bouldercounty.gov with opportunities, questions, and additional feedback.
Thank you for helping make Boulder County safer for everyone,
– Boulder County Recovery and Resiliency Division
