Baseline Road CLOSED for 3 Months at Dry Creek Trailhead Starting Monday Morning

Dry Creek Trail will also be closed to accommodate construction

Boulder County, Colo.Baseline Road will be closed to all travelers between Westview Drive and 75th Street starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24 to replace a bridge just north of the Dry Creek Trailhead. View a map of the closure and detour. The closure will be in place 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for approximately three months. The city of Boulder’s Dry Creek Trail will also be closed during construction because the trailhead parking area will be used to stage equipment and construction materials.

Road closure and detour signage will be in place at Cherryvale Road and N. 75th Street. Residents who live along Baseline east of Dry Creek Trail will need to access their homes from the east (75th/76th), while residents west of Dry Creek Trail will need to access their homes from the west (Cherryvale). Access to Nevin Platt Middle School will also be from the west. RTD’s 225 bus route will be detoured at 76th Street and Cherryvale Road to South Boulder Road, so no stops will be available on Baseline west of 76th Street and east of Cherryvale Road.
