Structure Fire – Allenspark

Boulder County, Colo. - A residential fire occurred late this morning on Jan. 26, 2026, which destroyed a home in the 10,400 block of State Highway 7 in Allenspark.

At about 11:30 a.m., the Boulder County Communications Center received a 911 call from a resident reporting a fire under the porch and smoke inside the home. All family members and pets were able to evacuate the residence safely.

When Boulder County sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. High winds in the area contributed to rapid fire spread. The residence was a complete loss. A detached garage on the property was not impacted.

No injuries were reported.

Because of limited water in the area, five fire tenders were used to transport water to the scene to support fire suppression efforts. Spot fires were identified around the perimeter of the incident, but fire crews were able to quickly contain and extinguish them.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.

Responding agencies included the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Allenspark Fire Protection District, Lefthand Fire Protection District, Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department, Boulder Emergency Squad, Estes Valley Fire Protection District and Estes Park Health Paramedics.
