Plastic Free July Events Help Reduce the Need for Single-Use Materials

It’s Plastic Free July and Boulder County Public Works’ Resource Conservation Division (RCD) has some special FREE! events planned aimed at encouraging the reduction of plastic waste. Events are open to everyone, but you will need to register as space is limited.  

 

  • Wednesday, July 19 at 9 a.m. - Tea and Tour – Bring your reusable mug to the Boulder County Recycling Center for some tea, provided by us, and a conversation about plastics and reusables while you tour the facility. Register here.  
  • Saturday, July 29 at 1 p.m. – Reduce and Reuse Expert Showcase RCD will host community and business experts at the Recycling Center’s Education Room to learn how they approach challenges, celebrate successes, and plan for the future of reusability. Confirmed businesses include rCup, Simply Bulk, Ridwell, Heavenly Baked, and DeliverZero. Register here.
