Veterans Community Project of Longmont is currently in need of donated items for hygiene kits, snack bags, food boxes, and Welcome Home baskets—a laundry basket full of household goods provided to Veterans moving into their home after being unhoused. Items needed to restock VCP’s shelves for 2023 can be found on their Amazon Wishlist and social media accounts. Please contact VCP at outreachco@vcp.org if you have any questions or if you’d like to arrange to drop off donation items in person at VCP’s Outreach Center located at 1228 Main Street in Longmont.

For the dignity of our Veterans, VCP asks for all donated household items to be new and all food items to not be expired or close to their expiration date.

New SNAP Interactive Voice Response Call Center is Live

The new SNAP Interactive Voice Response call center is live, and clients can call in to gather information about their benefits, get their case status, and receive general SNAP updates. Full functionality in Spanish will be available in April 2023.

Callers can call this system at 1-800-816-4451.
