Greetings! As the Boulder County Commissioners' Office Gross Reservoir Community Impact Mitigation Fund coordinator, I have been meeting with Gross Reservoir neighbors and gathering information to help the County Commissioners determine–with direct input from you, the Gross Reservoir community–how best to distribute the $5 million Denver Water settlement fund for residents impacted by the Gross Dam Expansion Project.
We encourage you to take the opportunities below to engage with us in this effort.
We Want to Hear From You -- Take Our Survey
We have been collecting information about noise, lighting, truck traffic, visual, and other impacts associated with Denver Water's Gross Dam Expansion project through in-person meetings, emails, phone calls, and community meetings.
If we don't already have your information, please complete the Gross Reservoir Community 2022 survey to provide us with your address and the specific impacts at your residence.
Information from the survey will help us determine which households are eligible for impact mitigation funds.
Join us for an Open House

Thursday, Aug. 18 – 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24 – 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Noise & Air Quality Monitoring
The noise and air quality monitoring consultants for Boulder County have begun their data collection activities. You may see Pinyon Environmental, Inc. noise and air quality monitoring personnel out and about taking measurements of sound, dust, and other environmental conditions in neighborhoods surrounding Gross Reservoir. They are helping us gather important measurements to determine impact criteria from the dam expansion project.
