Boulder County Transit Program of Projects (POP) Public Comment

In compliance with requirements and guidelines outlined in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 9030.1E, and the Boulder County Title VI Program, comment is requested on the FTA American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) formula fund apportionment for the small Urbanized Areas (UZAs) of Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville-Lafayette-Erie FTA Formula Funds Program of Projects (POP).

It's walk, bike, and roll month! Join Boulder Transportation Connections, The City of Boulder, Center for People with Disabilities, Via, and The City of Boulder Open Space and Parks for an adaptive bike demo and wheelchair walk on Boulder Creek Path. Learn about the obstacles, barriers, and opportunities to travel in Boulder using wheelchairs and mobility devices, and experience first-hand what it's like to travel by wheelchair and adaptive bike. Learn more here.

Charge Ahead Colorado Grant

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) provides grants for electric vehicle charging stations. Grant funding to install EV charging stations is offered to fleets and entities located in the seven-county Denver Metro Area, including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglass, and Jefferson Counties.

Free Hessie Trailhead Shuttle begins Friday, May 27

Boulder County is providing free shuttle service on Fridays, weekends, and holidays this summer and fall to carry passengers from Nederland High School (597 County Road 130) to the Hessie Trailhead, a popular entry point to access hiking trails such as Lost Lake and the Indian Peak Wilderness off of Fourth of July Road. 

On days when the Hessie Shuttle is open, the RTD route NB between Boulder and Nederland High School will be free to ride. Masks are not required on the shuttle. 

Boulder B(Cycle) Providing Free E-bike Bike Share to Low Income Workers

Bike Night

Community Cycles and Boulder BCycle are partnering to offer free BCycle passes to low-income workers, especially those who participate in low-income, affordable, or subsidized programs. Learn more here and find out if you qualify for this program.

Flatiron Flyer Ridership Challenge: Log your trips on the Flatiron Flyer for a chance to win $150! Commuting Solutions, DRCOG, and Way to Go are offering prizes for riding the FF1 to promote using transit to lower your carbon footprint. Register to join the challenge and track your trips here.

Buses to the Outdoors: As of May 9th, Bustang is offering weekend trips to Rocky Mountain National Park by reservation. Boulder County residents can board on Boulder's US-36 Table Mesa Station. Round trips are $10 with accessible options available. Click here to reserve your ride.
