Dear Kind Community Member,
Thank you for your generosity in offering to help our community members affected by the Marshall and Middlefork Fires. You did this by offering to donate money, clothing, housing, transportation services, animal care services, food, time and so much more. We have received nearly 2,500 unique donation offers, and this outpouring of kindness from our community is humbling, heartwarming and helpful.
Even if your offer hasn’t been utilized it has been seen, organized and made available to the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Responders. If a demonstrated need for these donations becomes available OEM staff will reach out to you. We’ve already utilized several donations and considering this is a long road to recovery, some of your donations may be useful in the weeks to come.
Please visit the Boulder OEM webpage (https://www.boulderoem.com/), and the Disaster Assistance Center Webpage (https://www.bouldercounty.org/disasters/wildfires/marshall/) for the most up to date information on the Marshall Fire Response and Recovery efforts.
If your offer is not utilized immediately, please know that there are other ways to help those in need.
