It's a good idea to check your voter registration annually!

Ballots will be mailed to all active registered voters October 8 for this year's 2021 Coordinated Election. Make sure we have your correct mailing address by checking your voter registration:

If you have moved out of Colorado, don't just unsubscribe! Please keep our voter lists accurate by taking a quick moment to withdraw your CO registration and then register in your new state!.

National Vote Early Day Oct 23 2021

October 23

Save the date - Boulder County Elections will host a ballot drop off celebration at Avery Brewing where you may also ask election staff questions in person. Time and additional details available in our next email or on our website in early October.

Why Vote Early? Returning your ballot early helps us to process ballots efficiently and cuts down on campaign phone calls and texts!


October 25

  • Vote Centers open.
  • Ballot-to-Go service begins.
  • Last day to register and still be sent a ballot in the mail. 
  • Last recommended date to return your ballot by mail (otherwise, use a drop box).

November 2
Election Day

Ballot drop-off and voting services available 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. to be counted.


Colorado does not have a registration deadline. You can register to vote up to and including Election Day.
