Free COVID-19 drive-thru testing opening in Nederland and Lyons

Boulder County’s status on the state dial could move to Safer at Home Level 3

Boulder County, CO – Boulder County Public Health, in partnership with Boulder Community Health, diagnostic testing developer Biodesix, Inc., and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment will begin providing free COVID testing in Nederland and Lyons this week.

No appointment is needed, and individuals do not need to have COVID-19 symptoms to be tested. Individuals who are 65 years old or older or are essential workers are encouraged to attend.

Lyons
Where: Parking lot of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200 2nd Court in Lyons
When: 1:30 – 3 p.m. every Friday beginning Oct. 30 through the end of the year, weather permitting and excluding holidays. 
Requirement: Mask must be worn 

Nederland
Where: Nederland Community Center located at 750 Highway 72 N in Nederland
When: 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. every Thursday beginning Oct. 29 through the end of the year, weather permitting and excluding holidays. 
Requirement: Mask must be worn 

“Testing is important in identifying and stopping the spread of COVID-19 disease,” said Chris Campbell, Boulder County Public Health emergency manager. “We hope having testing available in the Peak-to-Peak area will make it easier for residents in our mountain communities to access the service.”

El Condado de Boulder, CO – Boulder County Public Health, en asociación con Boulder Community Health, el desarrollador de pruebas de diagnóstico Biodesix, Inc., y el Departamento de Salud Pública y Medio Ambiente de Colorado comenzarán a proporcionar pruebas de COVID gratuitas en Nederland y Lyons esta semana.
