Floodplain Remapping Project Newsletter #9 now available

Visit the Floodplain Remapping Project website to view updated information and to read the latest edition of the project newsletter.

In this issue:

• Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) Delivered by FEMA
  • Boulder County is in the process of adopting the Preliminary FIRMs into the Floodplain Overlay Zoning District.
  • A public hearing with the Boulder County Planning Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20. 
  • Further outreach and public meetings about FEMA appeals and flood insurance will held in January 2020.

Looking Ahead

As the remapping effort continues, the Floodplain Remapping Project website will continue to be your resource for information. Additional emails will also be sent when new information, including meeting dates, times, and locations, is available.
