1.    Application to use the Justice Center Parking Lot from 

       Jack Hunter for Downtown Boulder Fall Fest artist, 

       sponsor, and vendor parking from September 14 (5 pm) 

       through September 16 (10 pm).

2.    Application to use the northeast corner of Hover/Nelson 

       Roads, Longmont (Boulder County Fairgrounds) from the 

       Longmont Knights of Columbus for the annual Lifechain, 

       a peaceful, prayerful protest against abortion on 

       Sunday, October 7 (1:30 – 3:30 pm).

3.    Application to use the east side of the Courthouse Lawn 

       from the Jonny Copp Charitable Foundation during the 

       Adventure Film Festival on October 7 and 8.

CONSENT ITEMS

4.    Administrative Services Department:  

       Award SOQ 6859-18, Architectural Services for an 

       Alternative Sentencing Facility, to four qualified 

       vendors (DLR Group, HDR Architecture, Reilly Johnson 

       Architecture (RJA), and Wold Architects, Inc.).

       ACTION REQUESTED:  Approval / Signature

5.    Building Services Division:  

       Contract with Douglas Colony Group, Inc. for roofing 

       services at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Arena 

       ($274,585).

6.    County Attorney’s Office:  

       Resolution 2018-82, conditionally approving Land Use 

       Docket SU-18-0004 (Left Hand Animal Hospital Veterinary 

       Clinic).

       2018 Budget Adjustment Request from the Sheriff’s Office 

       ($42,022).

9.    Ratification of the Commissioners’ 09/17/18 signatures on 

       a multi-year, grant-funded IGA with the Colorado Depart-

       ment of Transportation for construction of the Boulder 

       Canyon Trail Extension ($1,019,361 through 8/31/2023), 

       with attached Resolution 2018-104 supporting the IGA.

       ACTION REQUESTED:  Approval 

10.  Authorization for the Board to go into Executive Session 

       on Tuesday, September 18

       a.  11:15 a.m. with the Clerk and Recorder, pursuant to 

            C.R.S. 24-6- 402(4)(c)   and (d) to discuss matters 

            related to security measures for the November general 

            election required to be kept confidential by Colorado 

            Secretary of State election rules;

       b.  3:00 p.m. with Ben Pearlman, County Attorney, pursuant 

            to CRS 24-6-402(4)(b) Legal Advice.
