Woman found dead in Niwot
A 57-year-old Firestone woman was found deceased in her vehicle outside of a friend's home
Niwot, Colo. - Just after 9:00 a.m. this morning, an employee of a farm in the 9800 block of Niwot Road found a 57-year-old woman unresponsive in her truck. Deputies and medical personnel responded and confirmed the woman was deceased.
Sheriff's investigators were able to determine the 57-year-old Firestone woman was housesitting for a friend in the area. It is not yet known how long she was parked in front of her friend's home or what may have caused her death; however, foul play is not suspected and her death does not appear suspicious.
The Boulder County Coroner's Office is responsible for identifying the woman and notifying her next-of-kin, as well as determining the cause and manner of her death.
The case number associated with this investigation is 18-5265.
