24 year old man air lifted after ATV accident
Boulder County, Colo.
On August 26th, 2018, at about 1:00 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Allenspark Fire Department, Estes Park Ambulance Service and the Northern Colorado Medivac Service responded to the area of State Highway 7 and State Highway 72 in Boulder County, Colorado on the report of an injured ATV driver.
A 24 year old Denver area man was injured while riding an ATV in the National Forest. The male sustained serious injuries to his head and chest and was rendered unconscious. It was unclear to on-scene personnel if the injured party was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Medical personnel with Estes Park Ambulance provided on scene treatment and prepared the patient for transport.
The Northern Colorado Medivac Service was called to the scene and air lifted the patient to an area hospital for further treatment.
