Sexually violent predator on work release from the Boulder County Jail
Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Sheriff's Office
is releasing information pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes, which
authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender's
release when the offender has been determined to be a sexually violent predator
and is subject to community notification.
Nathaniel Kyle Stark has been convicted of a sex offense
that requires law enforcement registration. Further, he has been determined to
present a high potential to re-offend and is therefore subject to community
notification regarding his residence in this community. Stark is currently lodged
at the Boulder County Jail, but is seeking employment in Boulder County through
the work release program, which will allow him to work outside the jail during
the day and then be housed at the jail overnight.
Community members needing additional information should contact
the Boulder
County Sheriff's Office. The Colorado Department of Public Safety has
created an education
video that community members can watch to learn more about sexually
violent predators.
The purpose of this notification is to enhance public safety
and protection. Vigilantism, or use of this information to harass, threaten, or
intimidate any of the following people is criminal behavior and will not be
tolerated: the offender, the offender's significant others and the community
notification team.
