Fallen Climber at Boulder Falls
Boulder County, Colo. - On Monday June 25, 2018 at approximately 8:11 pm, Boulder County Communications received a report of a fallen climber near 33,200 Boulder Canyon Drive. Deputies as well as Boulder County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services, Sugarloaf Fire Protection District, Rocky Mountain Rescue, American Medical Response ambulance, and Boulder City Parks & Open Space responded.
A 35 year old female was hiking in the area with her friend. The female lost her footing and fell approximately 15 - 20 feet striking her head. With the assistance of medical personnel and Rocky Mountain Rescue, the female was able to hike out. She was transported to the hospital.
