Elderly male found deceased in his apartment no foul play suspected
Boulder County, Colo. -On April 22, 2018 at approximately 7:50 pm, Boulder County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched on a welfare check at the Bell Flatiron Apartment Complex located at 2600 South Rock Creek Parkway. The reporting party had not heard from the elderly male in a few days.
When deputies arrived there was no answer at the door but they were able to look inside the apartment through a window and observed someone on the floor.
The deputies along with members of the Rocky Mountain Fire Department forced entry into the apartment and found the 75 year old male party deceased. The cause and manner of death are unknown at this time but foul play is not suspected.
Investigators from the Boulder County Coroner's Office responded to investigate. The Boulder County Coroner's Office will make a determination as to the cause and manner of death once they have completed their investigation. The Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent once they have confirmed that all family members have been notified of the death.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office case number related to the incident is 18-2266.
