Automotive & Heavy Equipment Technician, Senior

Keeping that equipment in good condition is important, and the Transportation Department is hiring an Automotive & Heavy Equipment Technician, Senior to do just that! The Senior Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repair on all types of equipment and vehicles to ensure county residents can travel with ease.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma, or equivalent, plus four years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks, equipment, and vehicles, is required.

Building Services Division Manager

Boulder County owns many types of buildings across several cities and towns. Administrative Services is hiring a Building Services Division Manager to provide professional, administrative and consultative work in the coordination and supervision the Facilities Management team that executes planning, budgeting, design, construction, maintenance and operations of those buildings and other capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a professional engineering or architectural license, and enjoys having fun while working hard.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, business, construction management, or related field of study, plus five years of experience in facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction, or closely related field, is required. At least four of those years of experience must be in a supervisory capacity.

Development Review Coordinator

Boulder County Transportation is hiring a Development Review Coordinator. The Development Review Coordinator conducts and coordinates development review activities. Such activities include the development application review, permitting, and inspections of public and private development on the multi-modal transportation system. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting local land use codes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in planning, or a related field, plus five years of experience in urban, rural, regional, transportation, parks, or community planning, or related field, is required. At least two of those years of experience must be in a supervisory capacity.

Lead Transfer Station Clerk

The Nederland Transfer Station is a county-owned facility that accepts garbage, recycling, and compost from households and small businesses. The facility is hiring a Lead Transfer Station Clerk to run the facility and assist visitors. Tasks include educating the public about recycling and composting options, monitoring recyclable and waste amounts, and handling cash and other payments. Due to the customer-focused nature of this role, past Lead Transfer Station clerks have been known as the "unofficial mayor of Nederland!"

Seasonal Road Worker

To help maintain those roadways during the summer construction season, Boulder County Transportation is hiring up to four Seasonal Road Workers. The Road Workers will flag and direct traffic during maintenance projects, operate light-duty trucks, and perform various manual labor duties.
