BCCP-16-0001: Resource Conservation Advisory Board to review proposed Boulder County Comprehensive Plan Solid Waste Element update

On Wednesday, June 28, Boulder County staff will gather input from the Resource Conservation Advisory Board (RCAB) on the update of the Boulder County Comprehensive Plan Solid Waste Element, to be called the Sustainable Materials Management Element (SMME) following the update. This meeting will be the final chance for RCAB to provide input on the draft SMME prior to Planning Commission considering it for approval. The RCAB meeting is open to the public, but public testimony will not be taken on June 28. Written comments may be sent via the online comment submittal form.

Staff from the Land Use Department, the Resource Conservation Department, and the Commissioners’ Office value comments from members of the public. Next steps

The Planning Commission meeting to consider approval of the final draft of the SMME is tentatively scheduled to take place on July 19.
