Kids-Gone-Fishing Clinic this Saturday

August 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stearns Lake at Carolyn Holmberg Preserve

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space will host a Kids-Gone-Fishing Clinic on August 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stearns Lake at the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm.

The clinics are for kids between the ages of 5 and 15 who have never fished before and want to learn how. Participants go through stations to learn about casting, baiting a hook, and fish handling, and then get to practice their new skills while fishing.

Registration is required for this free event. Space is limited. A time slot will be assigned to arrive at the pond.

To sign up go to www.BoulderCountyOpenSpace.org/register or contact Michelle Marotti at mmarotti@bouldercounty.org.
