Residents Invited to Provide Input on "Future Possibilities" for Boulder County Fairgrounds
Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County will host a public meeting to gather public input on needs and desired uses for the possible future development of a community kitchen and expanded exhibit space at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont.
SEH, Inc., an architecture and engineering firm contracted by the county, is working on a feasibility study to add a community kitchen adjacent to the Jack Murphy Arena and to enclose Barn B to provide additional event space. (See Boulder County Fairgrounds site map.) The public input from this meeting will inform future possibilities for these two spaces.
The meeting to take public input and feedback will take place on Wednesday, June 1, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, Barn A, 9561-9589 Nelson Rd, Longmont, CO 80501. Public comment will also be accepted online beginning June 2 at www.OurBoulderCounty.org until June 23.
A follow-up reporting meeting will take place on Thursday, June 30, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. also at Barn A at the Fairgrounds.
