Monarch Road closed south of 79th Street at Dry Creek starting April 18 

Closed in both directions for culvert construction project

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Transportation will begin a project to install a new culvert on Monarch Road that accommodates flows from Dry Creek at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 18. In order to complete the project, a full closure of Monarch Road at Dry Creek will be necessary until the project is complete, which is anticipated for mid-July  2016.

Motor vehicle detours for Monarch Road:

  • Residents and other travelers seeking to access locations east of Dry Creek on Monarch Road will need to use 79th Street; and,
  • Residents and other travelers seeking to access locations west of Dry Creek on Monarch Road will need to use CO Hwy 119/Diagonal Highway.
