2025 Western Joshua Legislative Report
Each year the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) must complete an annual report to the legislature as outlined in the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act (WJTCA), Fish and Game Code section 1927.7. This report covers activities during the 2024/2025 state fiscal year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).
The legislative report includes an update on CDFW’s role in the implementation of the WJTCA, information on permits issued, fees collected, conservation implemented, and more. Please visit our Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act website to access the report and all previous WJTCA legislative reports. The link below will bring you directly to the 2025 legislative report.
