Updated California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Conservation and Mitigation Banking Guidelines

CDFW recently updated the 2026 Conservation and Mitigation Banking Guidelines (Guidelines) originally released in May 2026.

CDFW updated page 46 of the Guidelines to require bank sponsors to include a cover sheet with their bank agreement package. This cover sheet must address CDFW's previous comments included in the bank prospectus acceptability letter. This addition will streamline the review of bank agreement packages.

The updated Guidelines dated June 2026 is posted on CDFW's Conservation and Mitigation Banking web page.

Endowment Reminder
