CCST expert briefing today at noon via Zoom
In partnership with the Stanford Natural Capital Alliance, the California Council on Science & Technology (CCST) will host an expert briefing via Zoom today at noon. “Natural Capital as Infrastructure: Climate Risk, Resilience, and Strategic Investments in California” will explore the role that natural capital (resources such as forests, wetlands, watersheds, and coastlines) plays in policy, planning, and public investment decisions as infrastructure alongside traditional gray infrastructure. Drawing on the framework of Natural Capital Assessment and Accounting, this online event will provide California policymakers and staff with practical tools for understanding how ecosystem health translates into measurable economic value, risk reduction, and long-term fiscal resilience. Registration is required.

Interweaving Traditional Knowledge Roundtable Series
The Delta Stewardship Council (DSC), together with Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and California Indian Environmental Alliance, will host the Interweaving Traditional Knowledge Roundtable Series over three upcoming Tuesdays: June 30 (9 a.m.–Noon), July 14 (1 – 2:30 p.m.), and July 28 (2–2:30 p.m.). The first two meetings will be offered via Zoom and in-person at the California Natural Resources Agency building in Sacramento. The last meeting will be a virtual-only meeting. The series brings together Tribal elders and leaders, agencies, and scientists to share experiences, discuss challenges, and explore practical approaches to interweaving Traditional Knowledge, management, and science. CNRA Secretary Speaker Series: Live from London, June 25
Join California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) Secretary Wade Crowfoot in England as he attends the London Climate Action Week 2026. He will share the stage with partners from around the globe to advance solutions that reduce pollution and grow the economy. This international week-long event, now in its eight year, will bring together more than 75,000 people and feature 750 events over 9 days. This special CNRA Speaker Series event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. Registration is required.
